Privacy policy

Who we are

PrimoRec is an iPhone app developed by PRIMODEV CONSULTORIA EM TI LTDA, a Brazilian company that signs as oprimo.dev. For anything on this page, write to apps@oprimo.dev.

This policy covers the PrimoRec app and this website, rec.oprimo.dev.

The short version

• No account and no sign-in.
• No usage analytics, telemetry, trackers or ads.
• We have no servers: the app sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
• Your videos are recorded and processed on your iPhone and only leave it when you save or share them.
• We collect no personal data, and nothing is sold or passed on to anyone.

What the app collects

Nothing. PrimoRec does not collect, store on a server or transmit personal data, usage data, device identifiers or location. That is why its App Store listing states that no data is collected.

The settings you choose in the app, such as viewfinder guides, language and controls, are saved only on the iPhone itself.

The permissions the app asks for

• Camera: to record video. The picture is used only for the recording and the viewfinder preview.
• Microphone: to record sound along with the video.
• Photos, add only: to save the videos you ask to save to Photos. The app does not read, list or open your library.

You can turn each permission on or off at any time in iOS Settings › PrimoRec. Without camera and microphone the app can’t record, but nothing is collected either way.

Your videos

Recording, finding the person or object to follow and creating the vertical video all happen on your iPhone. No frame is sent to any server, ours or anyone else’s.

Videos are kept in the app’s folder, which you can see in Files › On My iPhone › PrimoRec, until you delete them. Deleting the app also deletes that folder. Copies you saved to Photos stay there.

If iCloud Backup is on for your iPhone, Apple may include that folder in the backup, under Apple’s own rules and privacy policy. We have no access to that backup.

When you share

Videos only leave the app when you tap Save to Photos or Share. When you share, the video goes to the app or service you pick, and from then on its own rules and privacy policy apply.

Purchases

Pro is sold through the App Store. Payment, receipts and restoring purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit, under Apple’s privacy policy.

We never see your name, email, Apple ID or payment details. Apple only gives us aggregated sales reports that don’t identify you.

When you write to us

If you send an email, from the app or directly to apps@oprimo.dev, we receive your email address and whatever you write. The app’s Idea and Problem buttons pre-fill the email with your iPhone model and iOS version, never your videos, and you can delete those lines before sending.

We use these messages only to answer and sort out what you asked. They never go on a marketing list, and we delete them when you ask.

Ratings

The Rate button opens Apple’s own rating prompt. Your rating goes to the App Store under Apple’s rules.

Children

PrimoRec collects no data from anyone, children included. Use of the app by minors is up to their parents or guardians, with iOS’s own parental controls.

This website

This website has no analytics, no pixels and sets no cookies in your browser. It also loads no third-party fonts, scripts or images.

Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider (Vercel), which logs technical access data such as IP address and browser to serve the pages and protect against abuse. We don’t use those logs to identify anyone.

The App Store button takes you to Apple’s website, which follows Apple’s privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data. Since the app collects nothing, the only data we might hold is the emails you sent us. For any request, write to apps@oprimo.dev.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever handles data differently, this page changes first, with the new date at the top. Important changes are also noted in the app’s release notes on the App Store.
